Okay, I will admit that I have been making a beeline to the mailbox everyday knowing full well that it is far too soon for any type of letter from the nursing office to be in it, but I suppose that I will be doing that until something arrives.
Of course, I know that I'm not the only one. So come on people, lets do this together.
Say this mantra to yourself and we can get through it.
"I've checked the mailbox ____ times today, and I'm not really crazy or have OCD."
This is your pre-nursing therapy for the day.

BTW,
NBMom, I thanked Kak when it was you who gave the information. Sorry. I'm still getting used to this message board thing. Ya know us "old ladies" ,we are still trying to figure out this confounded internet business, hahahahaha. Actually, this really is my first message board, but I am so happy that a friend told me about it.
Everyone have a great Spring Break...I'll be studying.

Hey Hoot!
Yeah, I still anxiously check my box everyday! I know my score and GPA aren't high enough for this year, but I'm still excited to see where I ranked. Next year, will be my time to shine. Of course you know the letter will come when I'm away on my trip. Grrrrr
I'm excited for you though! I know you'll do just fine.
Giggy,
You never know. I heard that on the whole, the scores this year were a lot lower than last year. I sure wish that somehow there could be a way that they could have two batches of classes go through. Goodness knows that there are plenty of well qualified students out there.
Maybe your letter will come before you go (fingers crossed for you). I'll see you in the LC tomorrow!

Hi Hoot,
I was told from the person that gave me the test that hesi scores this year averaged back down. Last year they were a lot higher. Anyway, I took mine Dec 15th and when I went on evolves website and it gave the overall averages for each section on that test day. (I dont know if it was for both rooms taking it or just the one I was in.) I am sure you dont have anything to worry about. I wished I had scored higher but hopefully a 93 is enough.

Personally, I'm waiting to find out if my younger brother gets accepted to Macomb! I call him at least 2 times a week to say, "I can't wait to find out if you got in!" He's probably about ready to kill me by now, but I will be graduating from a second degree BSN program in May, and I am totally pumped that my younger brother is going to follow in my footsteps. I actually check these forums to see if anyone got their acceptance letter yet, even though he said he doesn't expect it until April.
.. and maybe just a little too excited to see him squirm as a first semester nursing student.
