I don't recall having a ton of pharmacology questions when I took it, but there was a question about a fertility drug. I looked it up later, and just thought, "Really? Of all the drugs I should know, they pick a fertility drug?"

It's relative...if you have a pharm question and get it wrong you will have more pharm questions to see what level you are at. Most of my pharm questions were scenario based not "What do you give atenolol for?" I did have a multiple step complicated drug calculation that included quite a few conversions. I guess I got it right since I didn't get another....and it wasn't multiple choice but you had to type in your answer. Thank goodness for the white boards.

I didn't REALLY get to know meds well until I actually was working as an LPN and giving them. It took me forever because I would have to look up every. single. med.
