Prayerssss, lots of prayerssss going out to everyone including myself!
To those of you that have passed CONGRATS :balloons: :Melody:
To the ones that have not passed DO NOT GIVE UP! The worst ( nursing school) is behind U! So after crying ('cause you need a good cry to let it out)
Pick up that book or enroll (if you can) in another review and go at it again!
You have the diploma that said you made it. Now all you need is the license to prove it (to the state). :)

I just received an approval form the CA BRN yesterday....boy, I tell you I have jitters and butterflies in my tummy!!!!! I just graduated last month and have attended a live review course but I still feel so unready for the BIG TEST! I keep telling myself I've done the worst (nursing school) now what????? I feel so unorganized with how I study...any suggestions???? The review class I've attended was ok in the beginning because we were taught the techniques on reading and answering the NCLEX questions. Now that I'm on my own I don't know how to start where to start and when to start.Geeeeshhh!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to call and register at Pearson Vue to get my ATT but I'm too scared!!! Any suggestions on how to effectively study for the NCLEX without feeling overwhelmed..............................
I'm taking my NCLEX next month and I would suggest, doing comprehensive questions, figure out your weakness and make them stronger. I do 100 questions a day for 2 hrs. The second 2 hours, I work on the areas where I didn't do to well or need to review. So I study 4 hrs a day. One book I really like is NCLEX RN 101 How to pass the nclex. It has a pretest for you to take and figure out your weaknesses. A lot of other CD's have the same feedback but this one shows your weakness set up like the NCLEX. Safe and effective care, physiological adaptations...etc........
Good luck! BREATHE! You will do fine!! also when you do those CD tests dont' concentrate on the percentage right, like 75% or 66%, make sure you are getting more right than wrong. When I first started doing tests, I was getting 50-60%, now I'm up in the 70%. Doesn't sound high but from what others have told me, that is about what they are getting.
Good luck again!

You actually register on-line with Pearson-Vue at http://www.pearsonvue.com. Once you pay the fee and they verify with the state, you will be able to schedule your date. You can pick the city and the date. Good luck to you. :)
Try doing 100 questions per day, paying close attention to the reasoning behind the correct answers, as well as the incorrect answers. Shoot for having 3000 to 4000 completed before sitting for the exam. This will put you in the best mind for it.
