Titration Math Made Easy???

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do titration math? (mg/kg/ml) Math is definitely not my strong point, and even though I've had a few different techniques explained to me, I just can't seem to make it stick. I think for our mandatory math exam before each clinical, titrations are required. I need to pass with 90%, and am pretty sure that there will be enough titration problems that I need to know something about them.

Thanks for your help. I really appreciate it. :uhoh3:

It didn't stick for me until I made myself use each and every time. At my work, we have these great little charts already make for us with our standard concentrations...they are fabulous in a pinch but they make it too easy...I started to forget how to do problems if it didn't fit into my graph...so I make myself do the whole equation almost every time...I have a book that I carry around with me with the standard equations in it though because I tend to forget them...I used our prepared chart and common sense as a double check...So my advice is...the more you use it the easier it is!!! Sorry that is not much help, for me it was the only way though...

I agree with the other poster, you have to work practice problems over and over until it is second nature. There is more than one way to solve these types of problems, maybe you need a different way? If you could give a sample problem and I'll try to explain the method I would use. Sg
