I am looking for any tips or advice on getting through 's RN to BSN program as fast as possible. I a more than willing to put in the time, I just want to get it done and move on to a master's program locally. Luckily they have accepted all of my transfer credits so I have 30 remaining with them. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Just spend as much time as you can, working through the tasks. Not sure what you're looking for, sorry.

You might want to complete C228 (Community & Population Health) as your first class if you want to be finished with your 30 credits in one term. You cannot start on the practicum (C229) until the didactic (C228) is finished. The sooner you finish C228, the more likely you'll complete everything in one term.

Also as soon as you have access to your degree plan, which is usually about 2 weeks before your start date for the program, start working on tasks. You won't be able to submit them, but in 2 weeks if you are that motivated you will be able to finish at least a course or 2 and then as soon as it's open for you to submit the task or take a test, do it. Biochem and care of the older adult are usually 2 of the 1st classes that most people do and get out of the way. Good luck!

Thank you all so much for the tips! Luckily I don't have to take biochem, but I will definitely get started as early as I can before the classes begin and try to get c228 as early as possible. Thanks again, these give me some ideas on my game plan!

The biggest piece of advice that I can give any student is -- when you submit a task to TaskStream, forget about it until it's graded. It took me a long time to stop stalking TaskStream, and I wasted a LOT of time fretting over whether or not a task would pass before I moved on to the next task.

Submit it and forget it! You will progress much faster this way.

I agree with the above. You definitely want to decide on a broad topic for community health and start getting field hours asap. That will move things along quicker, even though the mentors will tell you not to. Most of the mentors give you lots of helpful information to go along with the classes. If you have any specific questions about a class I have 39 credits down in 55 days so you can message me if you want.

Wow Viperblue!!! That is incredible! I'm starting the RN to BSN on June 1st and your post is very motivating! Thank you :) how did you accomplish that? How many hours per day or week did you work on school?

About 25 hrs a week. I suggest reading the material, but if it's familiar territory skim until you find new info. Don't waste your time but do take advantage of the great resources available. Use the course search and course tips to find good resources. When viewing a panopto video loin at the top for the course label, click it to see all related videos. Some of the courses have videos that will save you so much time and effort trying I decipher what is really being looked for. What are you taking first? Also take a practice test As soon as you open the class. Do this before ANYTHING.

Thank you so much for your response. It's very helpful! I'm not sure what I'm taking first? I have to wait until I'm assigned a student mentor I assume? I need 37 credits to graduate :) I'm hoping whoever I get assigned to let's me start the community health class sooner rather than later. I'm in California so the clinical is a little more involved.

I'm also starting in June hoping to be done by December :) I will probably be doing most of my studies while on break at work and when my kids go to sleep since I only work evening shift it should hopefully be ok

WOW!!! I like the sound of that........39 credits down in 55 days. I start RN-BSN 5-1-15 and I have taken the pre-assessment and passed. I also want to finish my BSN in one term if possible. Any advice is welcome.
