I am interested to hear anyones experience in endorsing their license into CA. I used the online endorsement as well as the livescan fingerprinting. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
I finally got my license!
Method: Online, Application by Endorsement
Fingerprinting: Livescan (flew from Missouri to CA)
Date Submitted: 07/09/17
Temporary: Yes
Approximate processing time per BON: 8-10 weeks for temporary
Received license #: 09/22/17, total of 10 weeks & 5 days
The funny thing is, they still haven't processed my temporary license and it still says "pending" but I now have my RN license # on the upper right hand screen of the Breeze website.
Be patient, my friends!!
I applied for RN licensure by endorsement in Nov 2016. I received my temp RN license 8 weeks later, just as stated on the BRN website. I received my permanent RN license a few weeks after that.
I applied for California NP licensure at the end of June and received my NP license 10 weeks later, just as stated on the BRN website.
Hello everyone,
I am waiting on my RN license by endorsement. Applied around mid of august . They took my money off the end of last month. FYI I paid for my temp license ( wish I hadn't). My online status says " missing education history". Not able to get them on the phone . I have been trying religiously every morning but no luck. I was wondering if anyone has any idea how to get in touch with them. I have even emailed them 😨
Thanks

How long was it from when they got your license to when they cashed your check? They have had my app since 9/27 and have not cashed my check yet!
Hello everyone!
This is just a follow-up on my endorsement status. I applied for endorsement mid-August through mail. My information was entered in their system by October 10th and cashiered the check on the same date. Online status says open/pending with missing education history. November 13th, I checked my breeze account : missing education history was removed...still keeping my fingers crossed!
October 3: Transcripts Sent
October 6: Passed NCLEX in different state
October 13: Hand delivered app to BON in Sacramento
October 17: Processed in Breeze with "missing education history
December 11: Missing education history status removed
December 19: Breeze says one of my transcripts was missing
December 20: Called BON, emailed lady working on my case, transcript found. RN number posted 3 hours later
So approximately 2 months total. Not really sure if hand delivering application made anything faster, but it was a fun road trip and provided a peace of mind knowing that everything was physically turned in and roughly checked by woman at front desk.
This forum has been super helpful! Grateful for such a supportive community!
Quick question, do we have to wait until we have our RN License# in the first state before we get our Live Scan done? Taking my NCLEX in a couple weeks, and I know it takes time for the RN# to be posted after. I believe the form asks for an RN #
Also, does it really save time to hand deliver the application to the Sacramento office rather than mailing overnight?
If anyone knows, it would be GREATLY appreciated! Thank you so much! :)
