Timeline for endorsing RN license to CA

I am interested to hear anyones experience in endorsing their license into CA. I used the online endorsement as well as the livescan fingerprinting. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

just checking with you, online we needed to just submit 1. online app 2. live scan form 3. passport photo correct?

Yes and don't forget to send out through mail the actual online form with passport picture and a copy of the Livescan request with their signature. Apparently just uploading and attaching it online is incomplete! I found that out through reading this thread!!

Did they accept school transcripts from you? On their website it says they will not accept transcripts from students

That's correct. I had to request transcripts from my schools to be sent to the boards

Wow Mkanji that's fast! Were your transcripts accepted immediately? Mine keeps saying "Missing Education information" and my college sent them right away. I've gotten no email response.

Hi. I'm an RN in the Philippines and a USRN as well. I am currently endorsing my nursing license to California. As a requirement, I need to send both the request for transcript form and breakdown of educational program for international nursing programs to the school where I graduated from. My question is, can I just SCAN and SEND both the documents to my nursing school as an email attachment?, just so i won't be going through the trouble of sending it through snail mail and wait a couple of days before my school receives it. I just want the school to get a hand of it as soon as possible, fill it up and mail it back to California BON.

Hi Ma'am! I saw that you graduated from the Philippines. I would like to ask if they asked you to take deficiency course or they waived it already? Im a little bit confused because some said that they will require you to take classes while some said that they don't require it. Thank you

Hi guys, I am new to this site and would like to share my experience endorsing my New Mexico license to California. I find your inputs here very useful thus would like to give others an idea on how my journey went.

- I am a licensed registered nurse in the Philippines, New Mexico and Alberta, Canada.

- I was educated in the Philippines.

- I applied in person last March 1, 2016 at the CBRN office. Handed all the documents including live scan, paid $100 USD cash fee.

- I opened an account via the Breeze website which shows my account was created April 4, 2016

- I got my licensed today May 10, 2016. It took me 10 weeks in total.
