Timeline for endorsing RN license to CA

Published

I am interested to hear anyones experience in endorsing their license into CA. I used the online endorsement as well as the livescan fingerprinting. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

I finally got my license yesterday. My analyst emailed me the news. I applied in June 28 by paper and got my live scan done in SFO.

Congrats! Im still waiting the board's reply.

Hey I guys I wanted to let you know I got my license number yesterday. I applied in the last week of August 2016 with hard card fingerprints. I sent everything out all at once and also paid the temporary license fee. So I'm really lucky my license was processed so quickly, I'm honestly shocked.

Was this your temp or reg license that you got? Congratulations!

Good to hear regardless, I applied Sept 9th. Hard cards also. The only thing that worries me is I have never heard of group communications class before and I don't know if that is something one of my Wisconsin classes has made up for. We'll see I guess. Hoping to take a January assignment.

I assume it's my permanent cause the license expires two years from now instead of just 6 months.

Congrats! I'm not so fortunate. I applied August 19, online and did live scan while I was out there for a job interview. DOJ says it was processed 8/8. Called BRON 2 weeks ago and they said that everything looked good and I should have RN license in 2 weeks and APRN by the end of Nov. Recieved a letter saying that my fingerprints were rejected d/t: need to clarify reason for fingerprinting, on Monday. So I had the finger print card overnights to them on Tuesday. Called today and the finger prints have been sent to the DOJ and was told that I need to resend a passport photo. I'm so stressed! Every time I call they tell me different information.

BTW you have to send a physical copy of that identification form with a passport photo. Uploading it through Breeze doesn't work. That was the only thing they wanted from me.

Yep, that's what happened to me! I wish they made it clearer on the application. If they could just let applicants know sooner about deficiencies. It took over two months to let me know about the fingerprints and I wouldn't even have know about the passport photo if I hadn't of called today.

Geeze ! I sent everything paper except the photo. Tempted to bribe/pay someone to drop off photos. Anyone live close by?

hello guys how to get intouch with your analyst via email? i received a letter from the BON asking for a clear copy of my SSN. i wanted to email my analyst but he did not indicate any email contact. Thanks!

Hi. I applied for a licence by endorsement back in Sept. I also applied for a temp license. They processed my check last week. I checked today on breeze and my application disappeared. Should I be concerned? thanks

When they do that it means they are processing it. If you do not have any deficiencies then you will have your license in 1-2 weeks. That's what they told me when I called.
