U.S.A. California

I am interested to hear anyones experience in endorsing their license into CA. I used the online endorsement as well as the livescan fingerprinting. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Where do you look to see if you have defiencies?

I did not get mine. Received a letter in the mail that my fingerprints were rejected and that I had to submit them again.

Hi! Are you from Canada. Whereabouts? Where did you take your education? I am from Ottawa and would like some advise about CA license haha thanks!

I received a deficiency letter from CA BON yesterday. All they need is a photo. So yes, very confusing! the breeze web site does not make it clear that the photo (or letter for that matter) has to be physically sent to them not just uploaded. So monday I will send them photos. The letter goes on to say it could take up to another 4 weeks to process the photo.:(

Hi! No I'm from Kansas. Education done here also. Sorry to hear that jenpinkrn. Hopefully, it won't take that long. I would definitely overnight it to main address not po box. They said it takes a day longer that way. I have to also wait for second set of fingerprints to be processed. Praying that they get accepted soon. I need to have it in a month.

So I am going to apply for endorsement from Ohio in November when I'm on vacation in SoCal. I waited until then to apply so I can do my fingerprints via livescan and hopefully dodge the hard card process. I was wondering if it would be worth a detour up to Sacramento and hand in the whole application personally? I've heard conflicting reports that it can speed up the process.

Also, does anyone have info on the communications requirement? I know I have the 6 credits in written comms, but I never took anything in oral or group. Would I still be ok?

Thanks for any help :)

So...how do you actually find out once your license or temporary license has been issued? Also are you all applying for RN jobs with your license still pending or given the unknown timeline are you waiting?

7 weeks 6 days!!!!

Wisconsin license to California license via endorsement

OK, Here's What I did.

I applied online Sept 9th paid for it, no temp license. I sent the photo as a upload and the paper checklist filled out with my print cards on Sept 18th.

I sent for the fingerprint cards online on Sept 9th.

I got fingerprinted at my local police station. I sent the cards out on Sept 18 along with my paper checklist.

My school transcripts were paid for on Sept 9th also. I went to two schools so one was local and one was paid for online.

I paid for Nursys online on Sept 9th.

The BON breeze website said they were processing my application according to date filed (Sept 9) This was accurate. I was sent a letter dated Oct 14th that my photo was the only discrepancy holding back my issuance of a CA license.

******do not upload anything on breeze!! ONLY SEND PAPER COPIES AND PHOTO THROUGH MAIL!*******

My new agent is from CA, they suggested I send my photo and hand written letter giving them authority to handle my license to them. I took photos of the letter and photo and texted it to them. They went to BON on Monday Oct 24th. I got issued my license number today. If I had sent the photo overnight mail to the BON, My estimated time frame would have been 4 additional weeks from Oct 24th. My agent saved me 3 weeks of waiting.

I would have done everything the same except *sent my photo with the prints and paper checklist. The breeze site is very misleading when it says to upload your photo and checklist here. Lies all Lies.

Good luck!

I just received my license number today submitted my nursys on September 8 and the application on September 29th

received it November 3!!!! They are moving fast. I mailed my fingerprints and uploaded my picture and application online.

Received my license in 7 weeks! Did everything via Priority Mail (App, Fingerprints, check, etc) nothing was done on Breeze. Nothing special was done. Got my license in the mail 1.5 weeks ago! :)

Hi guys,

I sent my application via mail around the 3rd or 4th week of September. It looked like they cashed my check around the second week of October. All forms were sent and live scan was completed a week prior to sending the application. I attempted to search my name under the verification form and nothing has popped up. I registered on the BreEZe page and under the application statues it says "pending" and when I open it up it states submission date of 10/12/2016 and"MISSING EDUCATION HISTORY". I paid parchment for transcript and it was mailed out on September 26th. I've been going back and reading the forum but I wanted to clarify does this mean that they possibly might have not recieved the transcripts? I looked online and they said they are processing from September 16-30. Since my submission date says 10/12/2016 does that mean they haven't started processing it yet since my submission date was on October. I am stressing out because of all the horrible stories I have read on this forum.

Thanks
