Hello all! It's a little early, but I wanted to make a new thread for all those applying this summer for TCC's Spring program! I dropped off my application this past Tuesday and am already ready for October 15th to hurry up and get here, lol!

Pre-reqs! (Thank God.) You can use an online GPA calculator if it's a little difficult to find on your transcript, that's what I did since my summer grades aren't listed yet.

Oh, ok. Then my pre-req GPA is 3.19. I have one more class (bio 142) to take in the fall, so that should bring it up a bit more.

That's great my cumulative GPA is a 3.8 but I only received an 70% on my hesi í ½í¸ž I hope that helps and I have all A's and 1 B on my pre reqs I received A's in all my sciences a&p 1&2 and micro I hope that helps me get in I'm really praying because I've worked so hard I'm just afraid scoring so low on that hesi will mess me up. ..

So I take my HESI on Monday and I'm super nervous. I left studying to the last minute since I had five summer classes...just no time. Did any of you feel like you did worse on the practice questions you found online than you did on the actual exam? I feel like I know the material, but so many practice questions are very detailed/specific and I'm scoring lower than I'd think. How did your practice tests compare to your actual HESI score? And any other tips obviously appreciated! :)

Hello everyone. I have been following these blogs for a while now and finally there is one for the spring 2016 start. I will be taking my Hesi nest week and will drop my application off the same day. I am so excited and nervous at the same time. I'm praying that I get in. This will be my first time applying for any nursing program, so of course I am a little nervous. My pre-req GPA is 3.7 so I need to do good on the HESI. How is the Hesi for those that already took it? Hey maegsy, its Brittney lol.

The HESI was not as hard as I thought it would be, but you should still make sure you study as much as you can before taking it. The only section I struggled on was the anatomy section- I did well on everything else. Good luck!!

Hello everyone,

Has anybody already mailed/dropped their applications off? I dropped mines off on Tuesday 8/11. I am so excited and nervous still. The waiting game begins and good luck to everyone. Lets try to keep each other sane while we wait for our letters.
