  1. Hi Kelsey, Congratulations on your acceptances! I've been accepted to the Spring 2016 class at TNCC as well! So excited to start! I'm not enrolled in the ODU concurrent program, but I do know someone who recently graduated from it, and she said that the course load was definitely manageable. Looking forward to meeting you and our classmates at orientation in a few weeks! 😊
  2. Congratulations everyone! So incredibly happy for you all!! 😁😍🎉 I've been accepted too! Cohort 3!!! Brimurph2009, whatever you do, do not give up on your dream of becoming a RN! You will be accepted to a program, and you will be successful! Trust the timing of your life.💕 Riverside gives advanced placement to LPN's seeking their RN. Here is the link for their program: Riverside School of Health Careers - Professional Nursing Also, you can still apply to Thomas Nelson! They're currently accepting applications for the LPN-RN program. The deadline to apply is October 31st!
  3. Local mail has to run up to Richmond now to be processed. The last spring class had their letters by the 21st, so maybe they'll come tomorrow?! :)
  4. Thank you FutureRN0625!! 😊 Both TCC and TNCC have awesome nursing programs! I'm starting to lean a bit more towards TNCC though, because it would be a shorter commute for me (I live in Newport). We'll see though! Hopefully tomorrow will be the day y'all!! 🙌🙏💖
  5. Thank you so much, PedsNursing82! I'm sure you'll be getting some good news tomorrow! Rooting for you!! 😁🎉
  6. I didn't get a letter from TCC today either... But I did receive an acceptance letter to Thomas Nelson's nursing program!!!!! 😍 Stay positive and have faith everyone! You'll have your letters soon! Good luck to you all! 😁❤️👍
  7. Welcome to the thread Brimurph2009!! Called the nursing office this morning and they said that letters are being mailed out today! :)
  8. Eeeeek! Today is finally the day!!! Praying that we all receive our letters and get good news! 🙏📪🙌
  9. One month down, one more to gooo! 😊 Just four short weeks until we all receive our letters! Hope you all are doing well!
  10. Hi, everyone! We're officially past the application deadline!!! 🎉 Just two months till we receive our letters! Hopefully these next few months fly by quickly. Good luck to everyone and please keep in touch! ♡
  11. Welcome FutureRN0625 and Maegsy!! Happy to have you both on the thread!! Yep, they only look at grades earned on prerequisites now! 🎉 At the information session, they said that admission to the program is based on a points system. They didn't say how many points were given for the HESI/grades, but they did say they were ranked from highest to lowest like this: 1.) HESI 2.) BIO 141, 142, 150 3.) ENG 111, 112 4.) PSY 201, 235 5.) PHI 226 I know it probably doesn't sound like much coming from me, but I still think you have a chance FutureRN0625!! Apply. You never know what could go right :)
  12. You're welcome! Yes, I applied for the spring start! I have a 3.5 prerequisite GPA and an 88% Hesi score, but I still have to take PHI 226 in the fall.
  13. It sure will be. I'm a little nervous, but staying hopeful! I hope that we all make it in! Good luck everyone! ♡
  14. Awesome grades, mbtsab & mic23455! I studied from the Elsevier website book too. Definitely recommend it! I also used my old Biology, Chemistry, and A&P notes to brush up on areas I felt I needed practice on. It had been a while since I had taken CHM 1, so I studied like crazy for that section!
  15. Hey, mbtsab! Welcome to the thread!! I have a 3.5 prerequisite GPA and an 88% HESI score. I still have to take a class in the fall though. I'm nervous about not having that one class completed, but I'm trying to stay optimistic! 👍 How about you? Are you applying for the spring program as well? :)
