Hey, what question did you have about the MMR i asked one too! but she didn't have the answer so I don't know what to do..my titer came back negative and I don't have a childhood record.

Omg really?! I only saw 1 spot and it seemed like everyone was there! I pray I do get in!! But I asked her that one of my MMR titers came back low so I had to get an additional vaccine plus use another vaccine from anytime. I wanted to use my childhood vaccine but the nurse told me I couldn't, that I needed to get the second shot I'm December. But Dr. Eaton said I can use my MMR from when I was a child for my second vaccine.

Oh! I think I sat right across from you. Well that's good. Did the nurse mention how long you would have to wait to get the 2nd vaccine ? Since I can't find my records I'm assuming I'll need two.. but I hate to get it twice when I don't need it but I guess I have no choice.

Well since I have an MMR vaccine from when I was a child, the advisor said I can use that plus my new MMR that I just got. But before all that, the nurse told me that I needed to return dec.17 for the second shot which I really didn't want to do...now in your case, you may need that second shot since you don't have a record that shows you had it when you were a child...but how long ago did u leave after you seen and signed the paper? There was still some who signed after.

I know I really didn't want to get it twice. I wonder if it's bad for you? Umm I think i saw about 5 blanks...right before I left most people were already gone

Idk if it's bad or not which is why they require 2 shots but ask your nurse/doctor. But that's good, I hope those 5 blanks stayed that way lol

I've received the MMR, Hep B, and varicella series growing up. However I tested negative for all of my titers. My doctor told me I have to receive all series again, not just one. I can understand not wanting to get it done. However I'm going to get mine done. It isn't dangerous to get done twice, it just simply means that the first series didn't take. It's actual good to get, that way you are certain that you are immune to the viruses.

Correct, but you will also need the second vaccine (there's 2 shots total). I asked to use my MMR vaccine from when I was a child as my second shot and she said that's fine.

Nolabear and eyvis91 I think we were all sitting together at orientation! Middle table with two gentleman and we were last to get ODU packets? I didn't meet anyone outside because I had to check uniform sizes and get to chemistry. Plus everyone was gone from the foyer except Student Nursing sign ups. My name wasn't even printed on the list, I had to write it in LOL. I told Ms. Wilson we have a problem, I'm not here. I chuckled because I'm the odd situation of getting ranked two weeks behind everyone else so the list wasn't updated to include me. I saw at least 5-7 blank signatures left on the paper though. However, I am not sure if those individuals have special circumstances for not being in attendance.

I don't mind getting the vaccine again I just didn't want to get it two more times. I am calling a couple places tomorrow to see if they have my records. Did anyone go on the tour?

I wanted to meet y'all but I had a feeling we wouldn't Lol. I was trying on the uniforms as well and uploading the rest of my documents onto CP. But I'm praying I get a call back and I hope some of those Lpn's test out because I'm ready. And I also seen those dansko shoes on Amazon for a cheaper price.
