Thoughts on online Psych NP schools

So I've finally decided to pursue my psychiatric NP. I'd prefer the online route and I'm surprised I'm not finding many options for schools.

I've found Walden University in MN, Rivier University in NH, and Regis College in MA. That's it! Do you know about other psych NP schools?

Specializes in CARN.

here in Florida, there is such a shortage that it's not that hard if you're not too picky. I have 3 potential already and I'm just starting

Specializes in ICU, trauma, neuro.

I went to the University of Southern Indiana and felt that the education quality was very good. At the time it was completely online, but now they have at least one campus visit per semester. Honestly, I doubt this will add anything to quality, and will add to the expense to the students.  In my experience unless you are teaching or practicing technical skills there is very little utility with being "in person".  Thus, if someone was learning "surgical technique" (as in a medical school residency) or even how to set up and use a "rapid infuser" machine such as we used in the trauma ICU where I used to work it would be a definite plus to be "in person".  However, in the world of Psych NP, I believe that in person instruction is of minimal additional benefit. Your clinical(s) will of course be mostly in person either arranged by you or the school. However, given that I currently see 100% of my clients via Zoom one can even question the value of "in person" clinical (at least in an outpatient setting, in patient that changes dramatically to favor the in person experience).
