keep in mind that this is a cartoon posted on allnurses.com and any tele, ICU, stepdown or ED nurse is going to automatically analyze those vitals because it's what we do every day. ;)

hehe, although as a NICU RN, my mind boggles at 85mL/hr TPN!! ours are more like 5-15mL/hr...what is a total fluid goal for IVF on a typical adult? For the babies we shoot for 80cc/kg/day on fresh ones and optimum after a few weeks is 130-150cc/kg/day
