Hi! I have been accepted to Thomas Edison's accelerated program this Fall.. Just curious who else will be attending and any thoughts or comments from alumni would be appreciated!

I think my interview went well. I certainly enjoyed the company of all of those high level women. They did a great job of representing the program. They didn't tell me when I would be contacted, but they did say I should check my spam file if I didn't get the email. Since I live out-of-state, they also talked about the dates for the TEAS testing, STARS training, and the mandatory program review meeting. Did they tell you when you would hear? Are you applying for financial aid? If so, have you done that yet?

I have already applied for fasfa. I am not very fimiluar with the whole process. I am waiting for my transcripts to go through to get the final email.

I have been granted a spot in the 2016 cohort at TESU. I don't think there's a better program for me. Have you applied also? I wonder why more applicants aren't posting under this thread? It's surprising.

heyy Raleigh, congrats! yes I've also been accepted in the program. I've also been tracking the thread for awhile now and was wondering the same thing too. I Wonder if there is another thread that we don't know about. Have you done the Teas test yet? Will you be attending the 1 week Starz program?

Congrats also! Yes, I will plan to do the TEAS and need to attend the Stars. I'm currently figuring out funding (FAFSA, etc.) before I can officially accept. Things are moving more quickly than I expected with the TEAS & Stars dates since I'm out of state and have a part time job and volunteering commitments. Have you officially accepted? BTW, I talked to Lkwd85 and he and his wife (isn't it great they are both going into nursing) have also been accepted to the program, so we are four of the 40 they will be accepting. Maybe the others don't know about this site.

I'm also trying to get the financial aid...I applied online and it was processes the following day and they sent back an email that the school will contact me...I was schedule to do the teas this Morin bit I had to cancel due to circumstances beyond my control. Will be doing it Aug 25, I'm hoping to score well on it because it will be hard for me to attend the stars program (need to sort out day care etc for kids) I wish I could attend though as it seems to be helpful. Yes I'm officially accepted and already paid the 500.00 to secure the seat. CONGRATULATIONS also to Lwkd and his wife...that's awesome...hope to hear from the others soon...

I will be taking the teas on the 25th also. Good luck. Too bad you can't attend STARS. The medical terminology will be especially helpful to me and the study tips will be greatly appreciated. Where do you live in New Jersey?

Yeah just took the teas exam today and did well!!!! I met like 7-8 of our fellow classmates every one seemed really nice. So excited to be joining this cohort
