Hi guys!

I am in a nursing assistant program, but I am also taking other classes because I am going for the BSN in nursing

I do meet the requirement, but they said it is full.. however, they accept student who transfer, so I am eligible.

I am going to apply for the fall 2010 and hope I get accepted to start as freshmen..... before I go further...

I don't know what to do.. I work at UPS which I am getting tuition assistance.. I have like $13,000 left.. but they only pay $1500 per semester ($3,000 a year) or should I just work as a CNA while studying? I plan to quit when it starts to get harder. So, what would you guys do? Stay at UPS for tuition assistance or work as a CNA? I saw that some hospital offer tuition assistance.. I don't know if that's true. I think I should quit UPS and just go for the CNA, RIGHT? because I am very shy and quiet.. I think if I work as a CNA, I will lose some of my shyness, etc.

Anyhow, you think it would be better if I stay in college and take the science courses there or just apply for the BSN nursing as freshman?

Will UPS work with your school schedule? You must not deliver because you would have to be out in the day working. If UPS will work with your schedule and give you tuition money to boot, then they seem like the way to go. Does it matter that you'll be quitting UPS once you graduate? Be sure they don't only offer money if you plan on staying with them. Good Luck.

I will wait until I get my certificate for nursing assistant and look for a weekend job. That way, it would be convenient for me because BSN in nursing will be demanding. I want to work at hospital to get used to it and learn all the equipment, etc. I don't mind doing the loan as I really want to be a nurse and willing to try my best. UPS only offer 3,000 a year. I don't know if I will have tuition assistance for the BSN nursing. However, I am staying in college until I get accepted to the BSN in nursing. I don't mind the wait.
