I am taking NRSE 4550 Spring 2 2013. Who else is in this class?

I'm doing the evolve questions for ch 4, 5, & 6 and i'm having to look in other chapters (like chapter 8) to find these answers? Anyone else having this issue?

On test 2, I got 80%. Oh well that's passing right? Moving on, week 3 here I come.

I noticed it too. But you don't have to find answers for those questions not covered in ch 4,5 and 6. Stick to the study guide. I think the rationales in Evolve answers do help me understand some concepts better though.

I also did better on week 2 quiz.

I did much better on the second quiz; my guessing was better. :)

I am not looking forward to week three. The assignment seems confusing to me already. There are components in description that are not listed in the directions. I'll just go word for word through it and touch on everything. I can't wait until this class is over. Thank goodness it is only 5 weeks. My last of 12 nursing classes and the worst of the bunch.

I've been following the old thread on this class from last year and they had the SAME issues we are having. Week 3 assignment very confusing. They received clarification from the professor that the meta-analysis was not to be done. Just the strengths, weaknesses, and what kind of experiment is presented in the article. I cannot comprehend why the same exact wording is being used in the directions 6 months later! I'll be saying my prayers before this test! Come on 80%!!!

Doesn't surprise me at all that nothing has been changed. It has been par for the course in other classes as well. Seems that there is a true disconnect between students feedback and instructors correcting issues in these classes.

Glad you looked at the old threads. I still have Leadership class next quarter and that thread was deleted to my dismay!!

I am unable to find free practice questions on Evolve. Anyone have a clue. I am seriously freaked out about quiz 2 since I totally bombed the first one. WTH?

the practice questions are there, not sure that they helped much though.

The link is on the other side of text cover: http://evolve.elsevier.com/lobiondo. It's free. I think those questions don't help much with quiz, but the rationales for the answers help explain some concepts.

Do you get a study guide? If memory serves we had a study guide that was very helpful.
