Hey how did you prepare for that first exam? I needd all the help I can get.

My grade is actually a 88%-I knew that something was wrong with that situation. However to prepare for the test I became familiar with the study guide-nothing crazy just jotted down basic meanings and examples of qualitative and quantitative studies AND did the online practice tests on the evolve website a few times a piece. I actually opened booked the practice tests so I would remember the answer better and I believed that is what helped me. This class is going to bring down my 4.0 for sure-I just want to get out with a B

This evolve website you speak of, is it free for the practice exams?

Yes the practice exams on the evolve website are free, the website is in the front of the book.

I'm confused....When I took the exam I got 5 (out of 31 questions) wrong and ended up with a grade of 26/40. I now have a 22/30. How could I have a 22? Can anyone look at their exam? It is hidden from my page....even on the lockdown screen. I officially hate this class. It is my last class. I have to pass it. I had a 4.0...not after this class...I'll hope and pray to get an 80%

Thanks bushrn75. I just spent 2 hours writing out notes according to the outline. I'll try the practice questions....already registered the book. That's a pretty good site.

I wish I had an 88% on that test. Anyway, I refuse to let this get the better of me, I am so close to being done, I'm not giving up now!

Finally got my book in, lets hope there is still time to pass this class. I'm in the final stretch of my BSN. Last class and hoping this is it. I do not want to repeat this class. I've had enough of late night bed time trying to study and write.

Has anyone finish their discussion board yet. I looked at a quetion that was asked to the TA about whether this is to be 1 well developed paragraph or 2. From help explanation it looks like 2 paragraphs when it is finished. I'm just going to do 2 paragraphs. The hell with it, if it is wrong then it is wrong.

I did one long paragraph with the strength and weaknesses and another paragraph with my question. I don't know why we have to critique an article that was already critiqued. I didn't see that until I was finished my post. My observations are a little different...probably wrong anyway...but I don't care!

I feel your pain. Looks like things haven't changed from when I had Evidence in the fall. I felt the same way about Evidence when I took it. It was my least favorite class thus far. Hang in there. It really is a pain though!!
