I took my boards for the third time today..yes third. The first time I took them I had to answer all 265 questions...the second time they stopped me at 75 (I did worse! oy). Today they stopped me at 90-something. I was shocked they turned off my computer I didnt pay attention to the number. I'm scared crapless. Part of me wants to think..ok..they didnt stop me at 75....so I didnt excell..but I didnt suck so hard like the last time...part of me thinks...if I did that bad..wouldnt they have let me keep answering questions since i had like 170-ish questions left to go.
In case you are curious. I had 4-5 math questions..no drip rates...two put things in order...two SATA and a TON of prioritizing questions..OH! and virtually every drug I got...I never heard of before.. i really tried hard to prepare for the prioritizing questions. I have to wait until Tu-Wed to find out if I failed again or If there is a God..passed. UGH. Hopefully it's meant for me to be a nurse..I'm not sure I want to do this again.
I know this post is a little older but its good to know your not alone with the feelings you feel when this happens. I too will be taking my boards for the 3rd time. I am really nervous now and really at a loss for what to do. I even took an NCLEX review before my 2nd attempt. I am going to try Suzanne's plan.

As a third time test taker myself (finally passing on the third time), I wish you the very best of luck...
as far as S.A.T.A questions go, I believe there is a correlation to the number you get anf the pass rate, however..priority also counts as an "eqaul" level questions so.... if you said "i only had a few SATA queations and barely any priority" , yeah, that doesnt look good, BUT you had lots of priority so i say you did well. SATA and/or Priority are on the "same level" question of difficulty.
3rd time was my good luck charm, so im passing it to you !
