I have been using ATI. We used them in school and I went back to them. It is amazing. They are different from Kaplan because Kaplan helps with other fields outside of nursing. ATI ONLY does nursing. I can't say enough about them. The website is www.atitesting.com . Hope this helps. If you don't have time or can't afford the virtual, at least buy the NLCEX-RN book. It is nothing but questions and I feel is a good buy. Thats just my opinion. I am getting ready to schedule my 3rd try! Hang in there everyone! We can do this.

I'm in Ohio and just failed Dec. 11th for the 2nd time. I'm going to give Suzanne's plan a try. I would like to be evaluated in some sort of way to know what I'm doing wrong. I feel like I have tried everything, even a review course before my 2nd attempt. I really became confident during my 2nd attempt answering priority questions because of what I learned at review. I used my tips to break down the questions and still failed. The best way to describe my feelings right now is to say my spirit is broken. I'm at a loss as to what I'm doing wrong but still digging my heels in to stay afloat. This site was a wonderful find!

I know this post is a little older but its good to know your not alone with the feelings you feel when this happens. I too will be taking my boards for the 3rd time. I am really nervous now and really at a loss for what to do. I even took an NCLEX review before my 2nd attempt. I am going to try Suzanne's plan.

I'm in Ohio and after Pearson and OBN received my paperwork it was about 2 weeks until I received my ATT. I unfortunately have failed 2x. The 1st time I had a job lined up also and life was hectic at the time. I knew I should have rescheduled but I didn't. I did take a refresher course before my 2nd attempt and felt very confident taking the test. I took my time, read and re-read questions and it stopped at 75. I really didn't know what to think and was numb for almost 48 hours until I got the bad news. I feel like my spirit is broken right now. Good Luck to you.

I have read instructions on how to get started on Suzannes's plan. However, I do have a question. I have not rescheduled as of yet so is that something I must do before she would accept me? I have the 45 day wait period and I want to make sure I nail this test once and for all.

Unfortunately I sat for my second time on Wed Dec. 11, 2008. I am stalking all the websites possible to find out something. My friend said her status changed on the OBN from pending to active within 24 to 30 hours after taking hers. This has not happened to all of my classmates but a few. I am totally jonesing about it because here on the east coast it is almost 9 a.m. and I am still not seeing anything. Does anyone know if this is normal or does it just depend on volume? I've checked OBN and pearson. I had 109 questions the first time and failed and Wed I only had 75. I am totally numb! Just wanted to vent. Thanks.

Ok so I have been reading and have had all the same feelings most have had in regards to passing or failing the NCLEX. I unfortunately just sat for my 2nd time and I am freaking out. A friend of mine took hers on a Wed. and seen her name sometime Thursday afternoon on the Ohio Board of Nursing verification page. I tested my second time Wednesday morning and still don't see my name. This has not happened to a lot of people I went to school with just a handful. Most waited til friday to see their names. I of course cant sleep and am stressing over it and wanted to vent. I had 109 questions the first time and failed. This time I only had 75 so I'm definately jonesing about it.
