i think you passed congratulation! i have heard that the pearsonvue trick works and it has never proven to failed... i was told that after writting the exam and you feel it was easy then you should be worried about it but if you feel it was hard and that you must have passed. you made some mistakes but that does not mean you have failed there is no way anyone would get 100% in the nclex so rejoice and be glad you have made it..... !Congrats! go get some rest now it's my turn....
Don't feel bad. I took the NCLEX on Monday and made a couple of very stupid mistakes. I, like you, was so dang nervous that I just couldn't think straight. I left KNOWING I had failed. Came home, did the PVT, got the "good" pop up and waited. I found out this morning that I passed. I think every one thinks they failed. The pop up is a good thing. I think you are fine.
Let me put it to you this way if you had 75 questions 15 are sample so thats 60 questions...the average passing test taker gets just over 50% correct...that is why it seems so hard because when you get a question correct the exam picks the next question that it thinks you have a 50/50 chance of getting correct...so if your exam had 85 questions, you probably needed to get 35 or more correct.
So I took the NCLEX and now I am thinking back to the norms I wrote down as soon as I got in the room on the erasable note page, and what was I thinking! I know out of the 2 or so med questions, that they were both wrong. IM pretty sure I wrote down 30oz= 1mL!!!!! I seriously cant get over how stupid that was! And i was so nervous i didnt even realize it then! (And it just came to my mind.) Im half way thru the 48 hour time period for the quick results. Ive tried the PVT and it had said you are already registered for an exam. Please contact your local...for assistance. I heard if you get that it means you passed( which isnt reliable, but hey I tried it anyway. And in no way does the PVT work for passing your test, if i passed it was because of my brain, so no lectures on how stupid the PVT is, thankyou!) The only thing with the PVT is that if my results arent yet available, then I obviously wouldnt be able to register right? I dont know, thinking back I feel like I made ALOT of mistakes that I see now as stupid. I got 85 ?s- so i either did really bad, or passed. How many out of 85?s would I need to get right to pass- it is a 95% that is needed. Help me! HAs anyone ever felt like this? Im going out of my mind!and feel so stupid- and will be extremely disappointed with myself if I didnt pass, because I know this stuff! Hoping for the best but preparing for the worst.
