  2. LittleLRNThanks for the info. I don't live in Texas so I was curious. But I have a feeling that they'll prefer ppl who live in Texas before they look at out of state candidates. hi i just got a job at mcallen tx if you like to move there, i moved all the way from Minnesota and they have up to 10 thousand dollars relocation assistance program for out of state and then five thousand dollars for instate..... so let me know if you interested and again i am a new grad... they still alot of openings, i took the day time med surg position... the hospital is great

  5. does anyone know any hospital hiring in Minnesota and Texas? i would prefer Mn but anywhere in TX is fine for me.... i need some money and really tired of sitting at home with no job....i hate been jobless:banghead:
  6. i know how it feels to graduate as one of the top student in class and fail your exam..... i was depressed for a month after i failed on my first attempt, the people i taught in class all passed and i was the only top smartest girl in school that failed the nclex. i was so ashamed of myself and fell into depression because i had never failed before. but God helped me, the only person in this world that would not fail you is God, i found peace again and the motivation to study again. this time i did saunders book and alternating it with exam cram for 3 weeks, prioritization book by La charity for last wk before the exam. i passed the second time but not my effort alone because i really wasnt studying like that, i knew the content and have studied the same book so it was kind of a repeat for me. pray without season and trust God, let him be your guidance and strength.....i only did 200 questions before the time went off, in the last hour i remember that the last 60 questions is what matters so instead of hurrying to get to 265, i just took my time to answer the last 60 questions..... in all trust in yourself and trust in God, pull yourslef back together and know that you can do this, as per the nerves...when you wake up every morning tell yourself that you are smart and very soon going to be an RN. have faith in your words.... stop thinking about what other people will say and know that you can do this! go in there with self confidence and i wish you all the best of luck.... in my heart i will keep you in prayers:tinkbll:
  7. thank you all so much for the encouragement and support......!depress nurse and Greedy1972 you can do it! just go in there and do your best.....make sure you pray before stepping into that hall.... take your time to read each questions and do not rush your exam because of time....i was only able to do 200 questions when my time went off but i still passed..... i am praying for you..... good luck and all the best
  8. God is great, he has never forsaken me......i just got my results i passed i can't believe it.OMG...... i can actually call myself an RN.. thank you Lord.... i will write my story later....

  10. i got off from the exam yesterday after doing 200 questions the time went off, i guess it was all those period i went to the bathroom because i had diarrhea..note to self never drink so much ice cream the night before your exam i got back home really tired because i had to go to work from the hall. everyone kept asking me how i did and the truth is that, i did really horribly mostly on the last questions because i was trying to beat the time. i just did the pearsonvue trick and got the famous popup....... does that mean i pass.... please Lord let this be true......
  11. me too Chevyv.... i am been reading all day and i am having so much headache, i am going to rest for the day and hopeful for a better tomorrow.....
