Think I am giving it enough study time?

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hi All,

I graduated May 13th and have scheduled the Nclex for June 8th. I was curious to know if you think that is enough time. My program required us the take the ATI testing and pass it with a 98% chance of passing the Nclex, however, the ATI books were from two years ago and I am wondering how accurate they will be on the revised test plan. Any comments?

Also, for those of you who took the updated Nclex after April, any tips on prioritizing study time?

Thank you for your time! :)

Good luck to all you future test takers.

The question is, do YOU think it is enough time? Lots of people take the test and pass right after graduation. Depends on how well you have been soaking in the material during your program. Good luck.

I'm in the same boat. I graduated May 10th, and I'm taking it June 2nd. Some of the people in my class are waiting until late June, July, and some in August. I think that's just crazy.

I haven't taken the test yet; I graduate in August and plan to test in September. I don't want to forget everything I've stuffed into my brain! Besides that, I feel that the more time passes after graduation the more nervous I'm likely to become about NCLEX. Just gotta do it!

I graduated May 13 and am taking the test june 25. I have other classmates who are taking it the same week you are. I you know your situation best and you have to feel and be comfortable with the amount of studying you need to do. Good luck to you and everyon else out there getting ready to take the NCLEX.

Thanks for your responses and weighing in on the subject. . . I am not sure if I will ever feel ready for the NCLEX. I definitely have a large mental wall built up against taking it so I am thinking I should take it sooner than later. I don't want to forget what I have learned either.

Thanks again for the input!

Cheers all,

D
