  1. This is what you have been working so hard for. get a study plan goin for you and stick to it. if you still feel you are not ready then you have the option to reschedule. Try not to stress. i know that is easier said than done. Study a day at a time. Good Luck to you and keep us informed
  2. I graduated May 13 and am taking the test june 25. I have other classmates who are taking it the same week you are. I you know your situation best and you have to feel and be comfortable with the amount of studying you need to do. Good luck to you and everyon else out there getting ready to take the NCLEX. :w00t::hpygrp:
  3. i am getting ready to take the nclex on june 25th. My study schedule til then is doing 200 test questions between saunders and kaplan. if there is a particular section that i dont score well on i will then study it again and retake another 200 questions. i figured 2hrs a day when i work and at 4hrs when i have a day off with breaks in between. good luck to you
  4. I would be upfront fromthe beginning and ask what the nurse expects from you and let her know your expectations. open communication between the two of you is the best thing.
  5. This is the type of report sheet i was looking for...short, simple and to the point..Thank you very much.
  6. Can someone explain to me what the difference is between a tunneled and non-tunneled central venous cath. I've looked on line and in my nursing books but not really getting what im looking for. It does seem that tunneled caths are more in demand than the non-tunnel. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
  7. Thats awesome that you never gave up mom2bears. The nursing bug bit me about 12yrs ago and I have been going to school part time, trying to raise a family, & work since then. I've just completed my block I and can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Yea, i wish I would of went to school full time or change other things going on in my life but the imprtant thing is I will not fail and my dream to be a nurse will come true. to all those out there don't give up, yes it may be hard but it will be worth it.
  8. CONGRATS!!!! Relax while you can before school starts. I just completed Block I and still can't believe it. Just a few hints. Schedule consistent study times each day so that you're not cramming at the last minute, form a study group, do the reading ven if you just dkim over them so that you're prepared. Again, Congrats that is awesome:yeah::yelclap:
  9. CONGRATULATIONS on gettting in. I too was on the wait list for 2 years, the average wait for my classmates was 11/2 - 2 yrs. I am very excited for you and anyone else out there who's been accepted.
