New study. In dollars Spent VS. benefit to society... nurses are the MOST productive members of society.

Isn't this just another way of saying ... we are overworked and underpaid? :idea:

She felt like nurses would be the next target for wage reduction because the majority of patients are either Medicare or Medicaid.
The wages for nurses are already softening in many regions because numerous hospitals are offering the same pay rates that they were offering five or six years ago.

yes i would say thats exactly what that means!!!! but also, i think its a compliment to how hard we work and what we do.
