I remember the waiting. The PVT wasn't available when I took NCLEX, but like you, I wouldn't have used it even if it was. I had already started working as a GN and was in orientation when I found out my results. We took a break and I called. I'm very reserved and quiet by nature but I squealed with joy when I heard that a RN license number had been issued in my name!!! Good memories! Wishing you the best of luck, Texasfude! And to you too, erickz623!
If you're in Texas, I *think* they update the Texas BON website before they notify you. I read somewhere recently that that's how someone found out that they had passed. It went from "graduate nurse" to "registered nurse".Regardless - best of luck!!!
Yeah I have heard that too! I have only checked the BON website 345 times-so I have brought it down a notch!...lol. I only had 75 questions. My Kaplan readiness score was pretty good. I feel pretty good about the test which I hear is unusual so I hope I don't have a false sense of confidence. I think either way I would be little anxious!! :/
Thanks everyone for the tips and support!. I will post tomorrow and let you all know!

I took my NCLEX today so I'm in the same boat as you, just a day behind. I also had 75 questions, took Kaplan with good scores, & didn't feel too terrible when I finished. Time will tell....(I have also checked BON website already even though I KNOW its too early :-)
Have you heard anything about the GN permit disappearing from Tx BON website if you fail? I know it does if you pass & it makes sense that it would if you fail too, but I'm not sure. Thoughts anyone?

According to the BON it disappears either way so you can't rely on that. I feel like I probably passed NCLEX but my GN is gone...so I hope I'm right!!! Take a look at this....

Took NCLEX yesterday. I have only checked to see if Quick Results were available 452 times! Tom Petty once said..."the waiting is the hardest part!" Only 24 hours to go. Hurry, hurry, hurry! I know you can do the PVT but I don't wanna do that nor would I rely on it. I just want to KNOW it's over so I can start a new chapter of my life!
