The waiting is the hardest part!

So I've applied to all my area nursing schools and I'm having the worst time being patient. April seems so far away. Some schools don't send acceptance letters until May! I thought that once school started this semester, it would get better because I would be occupied but not so much! Anyone else waiting? Any tips/advice?

I'm so jealous too! I have to wait until after June 22nd to find out! That gives me 78 days! Aargh! I am working per diem for an agency as a nurse assistant. I still have way too much time on my hands. I am reading a book called Nursing Fundamentals Demystified and working on my medical dosage calculations to try and keep my mind busy. But feel like I will lose all my anatomy and physiology knowledge! I am so mentally hyper right now. I am even thinking about what kind of nursing I want to do and what kind of money I will make.:whistling: Now that's getting bad.

You and I are in the same boat! I'm trying to keep my grades where they need to be to give myself a better chance and I keep wandering off mentally lol. I'm going to get my CNA license regardless but I'm hoping it'll occupy me!

I am also waiting to hear back on my acceptance decision for the LPN-RN advanced track!!!!! I am going crazy over here checking my email 500 times a day!!! I am soo happy for everyone else on here!!! I hope I hear something soon!! The wait is crazy, but it really makes you appreciate the experience that much more!! Best of luck to all you future nurses!!

HarleyGrandma, how did your TEAS test go? Good luck to you through this process!

I scored a 88.7 overall on the TEAS, and had a 4.0 GPA. Our deadline was April 1, and they expect to send out letters 2-6 weeks later...so I am waiting :banghead:

I'm so jealous! I have to wait until June 17th to find out! SO ANXIOUS! 73 days! [emoji31]

You need to borrow that sonic screwdriver and jump us ahead in time, we can check our letters and then jump back! :roflmao:
