The waiting game..

I had a job interview last Thursday so now I am playing the waiting game. They said they would be making a decision by the end of this week, if not by early next week. I want this position SO bad.

Anyone else playing? How long? Just needed something to get my mind off my phone. I heard it ring the other day and I was suddenly tachycardic!

I didn't get the job either. And no one called me either. It's not just hospitals, it's general trend in every profession :(((

I don't think it is the norm to call candidates and tell them the position was awarded to someone else.

good luck on the job search!

I know but it would be nice so I can move on. It's just frustrating, norm or not. I mean I get an e-mail telling me my application didn't get forwarded why not that I didn't get the job?

I have been trying to move to another city somewhere warmer. I have travelled there multiple times for interviews and still have not gotten a job. I hate waiting to hear about a job more than almost anything. One place sent a letter that said I was not selected, but the others I heard nothing. Trust me I know exactly how you feel. Obsession is a painful process. I hope you hear something soon. In the meantime find something to occupy your mind:beer:
