The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio CRNA Program - 2024 Start

Updated:   Published

Hi everyone!
I didn't find a thread for anyone applying to UT Health San Antonio's new BSN-DNP Nurse Anesthesia program with their first matriculating class starting in Fall 2024.

I am making this thread because I plan to apply, and the deadline is coming up soon in March. I wanted to create a forum for any one applying as well! Post stats, updates, questions, thoughts and opinions, etc.

Also did they say anything about where their clinical sites are?🙃

All I wrote down from the information session was that they will have clinical sites anywhere from the South Texas Medical Center in San Antonio, to even some clinical sites in Oklahoma. We will not be allowed to choose which site we want, it is based on availability.

That was what I heard at the information session.

Thanks for the info!

I wonder how many people are being interviewed!

I attended the webinar. Let me look in my notes to see how many they plan to accept.

Did they say how many people they will interview and what will be the interview style ?

Those who are going to the interview

It's in 2 weeks and the nerves are settling. don't even know where to start!

For those of you that got interview was it on the 15th or 16th? Trying to figure out how many people they're interviewing LOL.
With the schedule they sent out for the 15th it is two 2 hr interview time slots, so 4hrs total for the whole day. If they only do one interview day and 20 mins per individual interview that's abt 12 people interviewing? if it's two days it would be 24

they said they were admitting 18 so either the individual interviews are really short or they're doing multiple at the same time. (Which I don't think bc from the email it looks like a panel)

Hello everyone,

I was accepted into a different program and will be moving beginning of August. I have a house in between the med district and UTSA campus that I am looking at renting out- would like to keep it to healthcare professionals and I feel like the location would be great for a CRNA student. Do yall have a facebook group I can post info to?
It's a 3 bed, 2 bath, 2 car garage.
