The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio CRNA Program (2024 Start)

Nursing Students SRNA

Updated:   Published

Hi everyone!
I didn't find a thread for anyone applying to UT Health San Antonio's new BSN-DNP Nurse Anesthesia program with their first matriculating class starting in Fall 2024.

I am making this thread because I plan to apply, and the deadline is coming up soon in March. I wanted to create a forum for any one applying as well! Post stats, updates, questions, thoughts and opinions, etc.

Hello everyone,

I was accepted into a different program and will be moving beginning of August. I have a house in between the med district and UTSA campus that I am looking at renting out- would like to keep it to healthcare professionals and I feel like the location would be great for a CRNA student. Do yall have a facebook group I can post info to?
It's a 3 bed, 2 bath, 2 car garage.

There hasn't been a facebook created yet. I am pretty sure there will be one by next week.. everyone is currently waiting on admission decisions to be received. Could you PM me?

Has anyone heard anything yet?

I wasn't- I didn't apply to the program here because I didn't know when the deadline was haha

Could you send info about the neighborhood/school district?

I was accepted! (still doesn't feel real LOL) very excited to start this fall   😆

would love to connect with others who were accepted as well, feel free to private msg me!!

Did you all find out admissions decisions via email? I didn't apply to the CRNA program, just the DNP-FNP program and haven't heard anything just yet.

Hi! I am an MSN-RN, CCRN at Cleveland Clinic CVICU. I have almost completed my application and was just told by the director of the UT Houston CRNA program that they do not accept Masters Entry into Nursing (MEPN) MSN-RNs! Has anyone run into this before? I could have gotten my BSN faster but chose the MSN route. Thanks!
