The 25th Amendment

It's time to create a permanent committee to provide this oversight of the executive branch.  Legislation was introduced in the House which would accomplish that. This presidency has caused concern about fitness to serve from year one.  It wasn't reassuring to have the new press secretary demand that the press acknowledge that Trump's inaugural crowd was the biggest at the behest of the president.  It gets less reassuring with each passing day, week, month and year of this presidency.

Basic mental health assessment involves a great deal of assessment and observation. We observe the person generally, how do they look? Anything unusual or attention grabbing? Do they make eye contact, gesture lots or little, talk lots or little? Are speech patterns appropriate for age and education? Is there cohesion of thought, tangential thought, word salad, rumination?

We've had 4 years to observe and listen to this unfit president.  It's time to fix this.

I couldn't disagree more.  The security of the republic demands it, especially during the reign of a crazy authoritarian who is enabled by a corrupt Senate and cabinet.

I think she is planning for the worst in case Trump gets re-elected.  Just doing her duty to protect the citizens.
