Just a bit ago the top three threads involved:

1.I have a DWI. Can I be a nurse?

2.I am stupid. Can I be a nurse?

3.If it takes me five times to pass NCLEX, Can I be nurse.

Not much left to add. Says it all.

Yea, I'm a bit slow right now. Ran out of my Synthroid a week ago.

It's not our fault that the dumb tend to be the young ones. After all, it's hard to make it past being young if you've already been eaten.

Yes, I've always wondered... if nurses eat their young (read DUMB) then how do any nurses become seasoned? And why aren't they eating the seasoned ones?? I think the seasoned ones would taste better to the old biters :hrnsmlys:

(sorry about the smiley but it was the only one with food LOL!)

ETA: Ok, this is why they eat their dumb -- there is no food in that smiley hahahaha can't believe I did that!

No way! These two posts are real?

Yup. Our new NM didn't understand why people would have a problem with 5 inches of snow. She didn't realize that she had people driving in from as far as 45 miles -- she came from up north, and a rather large city. She probably wondered why we didn't take the train (uh, we don't have those. Or buses. And there's only 2 cabs, and they put out the "closed" sign really quick). It was a total cluster.....

And yes, I drove by someone's house to go to work -- you can see the top of the hospital from their front yard. I drove 25 miles, they wouldn't walk 2 blocks. I was not happy.
