The Letter....Summer 07

Well I guess the time has come to start a new one:idea:

This is for people who have applied and are waiting for acceptance starting Summer 2007.

What school did you apply to? When should you hear back? What type of program?

For me I applied to Norfolk State University 2nd Degree BSN should hear back in March!! I should be ok, but you never know.

The GRE was required for UF - they seem to equate the Accelerated BSN with a graduate program and some of the courses will carry over if you wish you to pursue a masters eventually (they seem to really emphasize this). I'm actually pretty proud of how I did considering I only studied for 1 week, and it was way harder than the other entrance tests which are usually required.

i applied to rutger university accelerated 2nd degree program and will find out in february.

i am scared to death.

I applied to Florida Atlantic University's traditional BSN program. Will find out in March.

I just found out about FAU's Accelerated BSN program yesterday (I got in:balloons: ) - who else will be starting there this May?

Congrats FLAgal14! I got the email about FAU the other day too and will probably attend there. I'm just waiting to hear back from one more school before I make my final decision.

I got an email from FAU yesterday saying congratulations you have been accepted in the applicant pool for FAU traditional program (which is what I applied for). It asked which campus I wanted to attend, Boca or Treasure Coast, and I picked Boca. I still am not sure if that means I am officially accepted...Galore, was yours worded that way?

I applied to Florida Community College @ Jacksonville (FCCJ) for the RN-ASN program. The letters are supposed to be mailed 6-8 weeks from Feb 1 so that would be between March 14-28. But I've been checking my mailbox for the last two weeks or so. Its driving me nuts!! :bugeyes:

Galore, I also applied to USF's accelerated program. They don't look at apps until March 15 and they mail out letters the last week of March, per Ms. Beaney. It's the only program I applied to, but I have a 3.8 so I should be safe. I just want to have that letter in my hand!

I have applied and should hear something just before, or the week of Spring Break. Just two more weeks. :monkeydance:

USF has been driving me crazy with their disorganization. I've been emailing back and forth with them about transcripts I already sent, but now that I've found out from FAU I'm not considering USF anymore. Good luck with the waiting :)

Moondance, my email was worded differently. Basically it said I was one of the 48 selected for this year's accelerated program and we have a few weeks to accept the offer.
