Hello, everyone, I just made my allnurses account;I am so excited about it. I have to take the Kaplan exam next month and I was wondering could anyone tell me what the science section is like? There is not many reviews on this exam and I am starting to think that it's not that popular of an exam. I am wondering if its patho, A&P basics or patient scenario questions? If any one could respond and give me advice it would be wonderful. Thanks! I hope everyone applying to nursing school gets in.

Our school didn't start requiring Kaplan until after I started. From what I heard from the class behind us, it's basic bio, anatomy, physiology, etc. If you did well in your sciences, you should do fine on Kaplan entrance. My Kaplan online stuff for NCLEX also has links to the science study guide for the basic sciences. Looks pretty simple to me. Since our school just started Kaplan, they gave us access to everything. I took the quizzes for math, cardiovascular system and acid-base balance just to see what it was like and got 100% on each one. However, I just graduated from nursing school, so this seemed like easy review from my perspective.
If you don't feel confident, I suggest reviewing your notes from your pre-req sciences to refresh your memory. Good luck :)
Hello, and thanks so much for responding to my post about the science part of the exam. What school did you graduate from also congratulations.
