The job hunt

Well... the hunt is on... and I'm so confused!

I went today and could've had everything done to start on Monday, but I just got the feeling something just wasn't "right" about the facility. Two of my classmates start tomorrow. I don't know what it was about the place, but it just didn't feel right. Even though it's the most money I've found, I turned it down - and I feel like I did the right thing. I don't think my classmates will be there long. It's a nursing home and I just feel like I need some good ole med-surg experience. Now back to the drawing board....... Any suggestions? There are so many options out there, it's almost a jump in the dark trying to figure out which is best!

That feeling of something just not being right is probably your gut instinct, and it always pays to listen to your gut instinct. The right job will come along! Keep looking.

thanks all... I'm even more sure today than I was yesterday that I did the right thing. No regrets! I went to an interview today that I was turned down on because I am not trained in drawing blood & EKG's. However... after hearing me say that, my 6yr old son said "Oh mama.. i know how to draw blood!! You just get a red crayon and draw like this".... it was too cute:D But anywho... no sweat.. I applied to another hospital that has some openings. I applied for psych floor & rotary rehab. We'll see what happens....
