The HRSA nursing scholarship is available now. I just submitted my application although I'm probably a long shot.

The application cycle typically opens in late Winter or early Spring and closes in late Spring or early Summer, so be sure to check the website regularly for updates.
To be eligible for the HRSA Scholarship, you must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an accredited program that leads to a degree in one of the following disciplines:
You must also be a U.S. citizen, a national, or permanent resident.

I talked to VJ and he was very helpful. Those that did not give their forms to the school administrators it is ok to do that because if we received the email than we were on the list to have our administrators fill the forms out. He told me to have my administrator fill it out and send it in. He said he did not know anything about banking information but that the people who received those forms were being sent to the next level and that no decisions had been made yet. He is trying to help me find out if I did delete an email last Monday when I emptied my spam inbox. He gets a gold star!

Did he happen to say when decisions would be made?

That's great news!!!!! Yay for VJ
I know that one person had their credit pulled a couple of weeks ago... has anyone else had their credit pulled? That is really one of the best indicators, and I don't think that I am personally going to get my hopes up until that happens. I think it would be worse to think I might have it... then find out I don't.
I didn't have my credit pulled, but I received the mistake email from VJ.
So, I called our friend, VJ and asked him if he happened to receive the form yet from my school. He said no, but he did say it would have NO bearing on whether or not we receive the scholarship. So to clarify I asked, "So if my school drags their feet and they don't send you the info, and I am supposed to receive the scholarship, I would still receive it?" He said that I would still get it and not to worry. He said they are hoping to get the forms back by Friday.
He asked if I had any contact info for the financial aid people at my school, which I don't. But I went ahead and called around, and got the run around with the people there who have no idea what I am even talking about (surprise, surprise) but I was finally able to talk to one person with some sense. So hopefully that will work.
VJ is very nice. I wonder if we have suddenly added undo stress to his life with all of our calls to him. Poor guy.
Oh and I have no idea if my credit was pulled or not. I'm not able to get my free annual credit report at this time, so I don't have any other ways to check it out. I got all emails, too.
I also got an email back from VJ and he said he had a 1000 emails but it seemed like he was doing his best to anwser all of our questions. As well as, replying to every single email. What a great guy! He probly went above and beyond what his job requires of him. :) Can't pull my credit either because I already pulled it a month ago and nothing was there.
