The HRSA nursing scholarship is available now. I just submitted my application although I'm probably a long shot.
How to Apply for a Scholarship

HRSA offer scholarships to help pay for health professions' education.
All Scholarship awardees will provide a one-year service commitment for each year of scholarship support received.
The application cycle typically opens in late Winter or early Spring and closes in late Spring or early Summer, so be sure to check the website regularly for updates.
Scholarship requirements:
To be eligible for the HRSA Scholarship, you must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an accredited program that leads to a degree in one of the following disciplines:
Nursing (including RN, ADN, BSN, and graduate-level nursing programs)
Nurse Practitioner
Certified Nurse-Midwife
You must also be a U.S. citizen, a national, or permanent resident.
Have no federal judgment liens and service commitment.
If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can apply for scholarship through the HRSA's online application system.
Scholarship award covers:
Tuition and Eligible Fees
A monthly stipend for living expenses
An annual other reasonable costs payment

Last name begins with R, am begining year 3 of a four year BSN program with a private university. Did not get a notice that my credit had been checked, and am in the first funding pref.
What state are you guys in? I don't think it goes by last name. My letter said if there was any questions to contact the "state analyst" so I am guessing perhaps some of them haven't sent the emails yet.
"This e-mail is being sent to applicants who are considered finalists and alternates. Therefore, this is not a guarantee that you will receive an award."
We still have some worrying to do about actually receiving the award but at least we cleared the first hurdle! Grats all who got the email
I'm so sad nothing for me yet. I'm in the first funding group. I'm at school and I feel so sad today now. Maybe they didn't send them all out yet. I hope not. Congrats to everyone who got the email.
