Read about the downward spiral of a Nurse Practitioner “Rock Doc” that was caught up in his hard rock, sex and freely dispensed narcotics; in 2017 DEA found 10,000 individual doses of hydrocodone in the office. BON stared investigation in 2014 but not until 2018 did he receive stipulations, could no longer prescribe certain Schedule II or Schedule III controlled substances. Finally, Feds sweep through Appalachia in 2019, landed him in jail.

He sounds like one dangerous nurse to me. Gives our community a bad name. And calling himself the "Rock Doc" what an ego. He victimized them twice, getting them hooked and abusing their trust, or in some cases, sexually. Sick.

I read only about halfway through and that was enough for me. The guy sounds a little unhinged at baseline and quickly got sucked in by his own publicity. Give people their drug of choice and they'll stick with you through thick and thin.
The whole story is truly mind-boggling.

I read the whole thing. This guy believed that he was untouchable. It didn't help that he had people so devoted to him that they believed that he could do no wrong.

Finally finished the article (broke it up into two days). Wow. What a narcissist. He's so gross.

That is typical of a narcissist. There are some pretty exceptional examples of narcissism in our American culture right now and they all think that they might be untouchable...
