EEEEEKKKKKK! This is my first year not having to work Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, or both. I can't begin to describe how excited I am! Not having to stress about missing my kiddos opening gifts or having family schedule their dinners around my job....EEEKKKK!:)
Anywho, today is awards day and MAP testing, so I am hoping that will curb a lot of the visits. And then begins my break. Anniversary is tomorrow so the in-laws are keeping the kids tonight so we can be alone. I'm already pregnant, so what's the worst that could happen?

I don't know if it worked or not, but Merry Christmas, Far! 1st Pic was 33.4 weeks with my daughter, 2nd was 33.4 weeks with my son, and 3rd was 33.4 weeks with this one (2 weeks ago.)
My very first Christmas not working the floor, I got the flu:stinkyfeet:
My very first Christmas as a nurse I had to work the floor (expected to work, not an issue) and had to work with the flu. Fever, headache, chills, respiratory problems, completely miserable. I just knew there was no way the supervisor would believe me that I had actually woken up with the flu on Christmas morning. The same infection decided to go post-secondary a week later on New Year's Day. This time I showed up with my ears popping horribly (both infected) and pink eye in both eyes. Again, because who would believe me if I called out on a holiday that new nurses are expected to work. I went to my doctor the next day (I was scheduled off) looking like total crap.

I thought by the title this thread had pics of Sully's preggo belly. Disappointed.
I'm off for Christmas Eve and Day and NYE. I have to work my HH job NYD.
I haven't even put up my tree yet. I have the Winter Doldrums.
No worries. I work better under pressure.
