So I'm researching everywhere trying to see if I can find international editions or maybe used textbooks that will be cheaper for me than buying the bundle from the bookstore. The bundle from school which includes 5 textbooks is $360 (includes Fundamentals of Nursing, Essentials of Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing, Pharmacology, Medical Surgical Nursing and Maternal Child Nursing Care)
Is it just me or can no one else find cheaper textbooks anywhere? Am I missing something? I can't believe the bookstore bundle is actually CHEAPER than buying other places online. Plus, I can't seem to find international editions of any of these books anywhere.
Where do you guys find textbooks to buy? Or would you recommend renting?
our books are bought together in a bundle with all of the different online accesses that we need and lots of supplemental resources too.....there is no way to buy them cheaper because if you bought used books then went back and bought the online accesses you'd be spending more money..... sooo it's $1200+ from the publisher or $1500 from the campus bookstore (which most of us will be doing because we don't get out FA/loan refunds until a couple of weeks into the semester :-/ I could really use that extra $250 but don't have the $1200 to pay out of pocket while I wait for that refund to order them from the publisher. *sigh* the first semester is soooo expensive....luckily that is all of the books for the entire program....but yikes getting started is rough
