Texas Woman's University (TWU) Fall 2025

Published

Hello everyone,

Noticed there was no topic for the TWU Fall 2025 cohort. Could be early, but I want to know how everyone is doing! I'm currently in the process of writing my personal statements. I know the program is very competitive, so I wanted to share my stats and hopefully receive some honest feedback on my chances of admission:

GPA: 4.0

TEAS:

Cumulative: 90.7%

Reading: 89.7%

Math: 94.1%

Science: 93.2%

English: 81.8%

Good luck everyone!

Mine says verified. I believe once nursingcas reviews all of your transcripts, the status changes.

Do you know when you submitted your application and how long it took yours to be verified?

Hi guys! I have a question. My application now says complete but Ik TWU says it has to say verified. Does it say verified for any of you or just complete?

By now it should have been verified.. the deadline passed Feb 1

Since the deadline has passed, I'm curious which campus y'all applied to. Also, do you know when they will announce their decision?

I applied to the Houston one since I live in Houston LOL. They'll announce it mid-April according to TWU. Which campus did uou apply to?

Should I call nursing cas to verify my application? Did anybody do that? Ik it stated to do so in the email reminder they had sent it

Cool, I also applied to Houston. I hope we can get in!

I am applying for Upper division program Dallas location.

I have no true prior medical experience (just health&wellness through fitness internships/yoga/martial arts/dance instruction and have been self employed artist for a decade teaching/performing)

Prior B.S. Kinesiology degree 3.52 GPA

Cumulative undergrad 3.48

Post Bach 4.0

Prereq 3.96

TEAS 93.3 (R 94.9 M 100 S 90.9 E 84.8)

Currently enrolled at Patho for Spring semester

This feels like major imposter syndrome going back down a new path for a second degree... and I just hope decisions I made over a decade ago (hence a lower cumulative GPA) do not overshadow that my more recent studies have been at a higher caliber.

When do they usually start sending out letters to people? 4-6 weeks?

Your status is pretty amazing! I'm sure you will get in, especially since you also have a bachelor's degree. I think they will focus more on your prerequisite GPA (3.96) than your cumulative GPA, so you should be fine. I believe they will announce the results at the end of March or mid-April.

Hi everyone! Is there a way to check our admission status like we did for the university applications? I checked WebAdvisor, but it only shows my accepted university application.

I did this as well. Church you email. Have no not received an email from TWU saying congrats and that you've been accepted?

Wait, we didn't hear back this soon 😭 right? I didn't think acceptances for the program had gone out yet since the deadlines just closed. So far, my TWU Gmail hasn't received any notifications, and all communications from the school have been through my personal email.

I answered her question thinking she was referring to the acceptance letter from TWU University and not the Nursing application. The nursing application won't go out till end of March or April I believe.
but if she's asking about being accepted to TWU there should be an email from them stating "you've been accepted and congratulations" separately to your personal email. Hope that helps

You are not able to yet, they well send acceptance letters probably mid April and they will come to your twu email or personal email.
