Texas Woman's University (TWU) Fall 2024

Published

Hey there everyone,

Noticed no one made a topic for the twu fall 2024 cohort applications yet so I thought I would do it. Maybe it's just too early, but Im itching to get started! Has anyone already taken TEAS and finished all prerequisites? I'm nervous because I'm transferring in with no previous bachelors so I have no preference.

If we don't get it by tomorrow, I'll stop checking my email every 15 minutes.

I'm not the only one constantly refreshing my email right? LOL

Me too. And my spam LOL

yep. I've been checking my personal email, my twu email, and my spam folders all day LOL

I don't think we're going to hear back today.

Yeah ik that's why I said we're most likely not going to hear back today especially if it's over 900 applications and if we do then so be it.

If I might ask, Why today specifically? Is it the last day for something?

Because previous cohorts heard back yesterday and today.

you have a perfect 4.0 nursing prerequisite GPA and an 89% on TEAS. in my opinion those are very competitive stats! 🙂

I am worried about my chances because my overall GPA is low (3.2). I am unsure if they prioritize overall GPA over other factors as this year's admission process is still unclear. I have seen in the past that some applicants with a lower GPA in nursing prerequisites (3.6) and a lower TEAS score (83) but a higher overall GPA (3.8) get accepted. Hopefully, they take into consideration that the classes I failed over a decade ago do not reflect my current academic abilities, and acknowledge my hard work to raise my GPA in recent years.

I think that if your nursing GPA is good, they will definitely see the hard work. I have the opposite thing. My overall is quite high, but my nursing GPA is low and TEAS is average. Hoping for a miracle in my case.  But I think you're going to have a good chance!

by any chance did the person who asked about number of applications hear nine instead of five? it's just a thought as they sound similar....
