Texas Woman's University (TWU) Fall 2024

Hey there everyone,

Noticed no one made a topic for the twu fall 2024 cohort applications yet so I thought I would do it. Maybe it's just too early, but Im itching to get started! Has anyone already taken TEAS and finished all prerequisites? I'm nervous because I'm transferring in with no previous bachelors so I have no preference.

I GOT INTO THE DALLAS CAMPUS WOOHOOOOO such a great early birthday present!!

Let me add my stats:

Transfer Student

3.99 overall and prereq GPA

92 TEAS

Hospital experience and medical certifications

I got in too!  Oh my gosh - I'm shaking!  Yes, I'd like to be part of a group chat!  I wish they had an information session before we accept or decline the offer.  I have so many questions about the program.  

 

For future applicants, here are my stats as a transfer student

Nursing core/prereq GPA 3.83

Cumulative GPA 3.59

Science GPA 4.0

TEAS 92.7

I left the volunteer and work info blank.  I've been kicking myself ever since.

I got in to the Houston campus!! I'm SO excited 🙂

My acceptance letter states "The College of Nursing has decided to temporarily suspend the weekend and evening program, offering the top 10 candidates an opportunity to join the Traditional program instead."

Okay give me a second! Let me accept my letter and stuff! And same here I would attend and then you can decline if you feel like it's not for you that's what I'm doing 🙂

I also volunteer and help foster dogs and puppies😊

Can we accept and then decline later if we decide it isn't for us?  Anyone know if there are any negative repercussions for that?  Or are we out any additional money?  I'm still waiting to hear back from another school....

That's what I'm doing. No money required for the seat. I'm waiting to hear back from 5 more schools.
