Texas Woman's University (TWU) Fall 2024

Published

Hey there everyone,

Noticed no one made a topic for the twu fall 2024 cohort applications yet so I thought I would do it. Maybe it's just too early, but Im itching to get started! Has anyone already taken TEAS and finished all prerequisites? I'm nervous because I'm transferring in with no previous bachelors so I have no preference.

I already accepted my acceptance for Texas A&M BSN program, will I get in trouble if I also accept this one? Not only that but I'm also waiting to hear back from 3 other schools!! I just need to know what's more economically smarter for me

I GOT ACCEPTED!

I got into the Houston campus! For future cohorts, believe you can get in because I think I have very mid level stats.

Here are my stats:

Overall GPA: 3.82

Science GPA: 3.56

TEAS: 84.7

No medical experience but I do help run a future nurses program at my former high school where I also lead a volunteer group with the Houston Food Bank and other programs.

For people looking into the financials of the program, have you guys looked into the Zero Tuition Guarantee? It pretty much guarantees that the school will cover tuition via scholarships & grants if you are eligible for a Pell Grant.

Hi guys!

I just received my acceptance email!

My stats are below if anyone is keeping track--------

prerequisite GPA: 4.0

science GPA: 4.0

overall GPA: 3.95

TEAS: 88.6

Does anyone know how many students they accept and the number of students who applied?

I'm sadly not eligible for a Pell grant anymore due to the new FAFSA I'm waiting to make corrections but its still not letting me.

Got accepted to the Houston campus as well! Been a longtime lurker so I'm posting my stats for any future applicants.

Science GPA: 3.06

Prereq/nursing GPA: 3.67

Overall GPA: 3.57

TEAS: 89.3

Currently in the process of completing a bachelor's, no in-person healthcare experience.

My stats are far from outstanding, so for future applicants, be optimistic because you never know 😁👍
