Texas Woman's University (TWU) Fall 2024

Hey there everyone,

Noticed no one made a topic for the twu fall 2024 cohort applications yet so I thought I would do it. Maybe it's just too early, but Im itching to get started! Has anyone already taken TEAS and finished all prerequisites? I'm nervous because I'm transferring in with no previous bachelors so I have no preference. 

I got an email with them saying they still needed  something from one of my schools. I fixed the problem and they said they would resume processing my app. Is this the eligibility email you all are asking about?

The eligibility email is an email saying that your application was processed successfully and is eligible to be considered for admission to the nursing program. This would indicate that the process of deciding who is accepted and rejected has started.    Later on you should also get a final email telling you if you made it in or not.

They might not be doing eligibility emails just due to the number of applications.

If we have a question about the status of our application, who do we contact?  NursingCAS or TWU Nursing?  It's not very clear on their FAQs. Or on their tutorial.

im a little nervous because I don't think my TEAS score is the best to get in with: 

TEAS: 75

science GPA: 3.7

overall GPA: 3.8

are these stats okay,,

Personally I think your stats are relatively good.  Also, I think It really all depends on the overall stats of the cohort that is a applying for Fall 2024.  I found this video encouraging though!  Best of luck to everyone!

My TEAS score is 81, still not up there with the 90s I am seeing so I get the being nervous. I am hoping my years as a medical assistant help me get in with their "holistic approach" 
is this the only school you applied to?

Hey guys, I was just looking through old emails TWU sent out and realized that an email sent Jan 30th specified that we should make our Castlebranch account with our TWU email but by this point I had already completed and received my background check with an account I made with my personal email, everything else was done correctly including the school code but do you guys think this is a big deal? I don't know how strict they would be regarding this so I'm hoping it isn't a big deal or should I be worried?

you can contact castle branch's # to change the email associated with your account. once updated, contact the school and let them know.

Just realized I can change it through Castlebranch's settings and I will contact the school just to let them know, thank you for the advice!

In last year's fall group, I saw that some applicants received acceptance emails in the last week of March. Hopefully, we get as lucky, and our wait is over! I can't take another month just sitting and waiting. LOL

I saw that too! I am nervous that it is going to be later because we haven't received the eligibility email yet.
