I haven't seen a thread for Texas Wesleyan 2022 program start, so figured I'd start one. Has anyone submitted their application yet? I'm just about done wrapping mine up. I noticed they didn't have early application this year like they have in precious?

To all who already have an interview invite, are they all just group interviews? I emailed last week and was told hopefully by the end of this week we should know about invites. This is my first year applying and I'm so anxious and nervous! I wonder if you are not selected if you get notified. Other than the email I sent, I have not been contacted by the school.

@road2crna2022 they are all group interviews. You will be notified if you are selected for an interview or not. Patience and good luck!

Hi Marcus37,

Did your email say that they were group interviews?  Mine does not mention group interviews.  Also, is your interview for a specific clinical site?

The email doesn’t specifically say “group interview”, but when you go to schedule it, at the top of the page it mentions group interviews. They also have single interview for fast-track candidates.

I went back to the scheduling page to check and it doesn't mention group interviews.  I was just curious, it doesn't matter either way to me.

The e-mail doesn't say group interview. When you click on the link to schedule your interview Jan 11th - 14th, it will say group interview. All mine did. Like ICURN94 said maybe you got an individual/fast-track interview.

No, nothing else. I called today to ask if there was a delay in invites. Appearntly there was 400-500 applicants and they are still sorting through applicants. It's interesting though since some people that turned in their applications a week prior to when it was due have already received invites and people that turned in their applications months before haven't heard anything. Strange... I would probably just hold off to the end of next week as it seems they might still be sending out invites thee rest of this week. Have you been accepted elsewhere and are waiting to hear from TxWES to make a decision?

Wow that is a lot of applications. I do not understand how they are choosing applicants. I know of two who have GRE's 280-290 range with interviews and GPA's that are low. So not sure how they are selecting people. I was confident to get an interview and now, not so sure. When you called did they say that they would be done this week? Or could it possibly go into next week? This is the only school I applied to this time around as I just took my GRE. Did we need to include shadowing experience in our application? That is the only thing that I did not include. I have shadowed, just did not turn in anything stating that since It was not in checklist.

I mentioned this in the earlier thread but again, I emailed the advisor on 11/3 I believe and she said they would be sending out notifications “all throughout the month of November.” Sorry it’s not more helpful!
