  1. To those who applied through NursingCas, do they factor every attempt into your GPA? And if so do withdraws factor in? I am definitely re-applying again next year if I don't get an interview this time, so am curious to see how nursingcas works. I am just looking at my current transcript GPA's but not sure how either Texas Wes or Nursingcas will calculate them. I have some re-takes, as well as an F for forgetting to drop in time, but re-took for a higher grade. My current two transcripts have GPA's >3, and math and science is >3 as well. But the official transcripts I have do not calculate the repeat classes. Any info would be really appreciated. That way I do not re-take any classes, but instead take additional Chemistry type classes, to boost GPA, esp last 60 hours.
  2. Since you have spoken to them, when they calculate the GPA, do they only count the grade for your highest try? Or do they count all attempts?
  3. Would you mind sharing your stats? I'm still trying to remain hopeful!
  4. To all those that have an interview already, would you guys mind sharing the clinical site(s) you selected? Does it state that on your interview invite like for CVRN22 with Harris? Thanks for any insight, I am still hoping for an interview. Wonder if clinical site selection is playing a part in the delay for some invites? My selection #1 was for JPS.
  5. Those stats look better than some, so I would think you would get an interview! What number are you guys calling when asking questions? Is it better to call or email?
  6. Wow that is a lot of applications. I do not understand how they are choosing applicants. I know of two who have GRE's 280-290 range with interviews and GPA's that are low. So not sure how they are selecting people. I was confident to get an interview and now, not so sure. When you called did they say that they would be done this week? Or could it possibly go into next week? This is the only school I applied to this time around as I just took my GRE. Did we need to include shadowing experience in our application? That is the only thing that I did not include. I have shadowed, just did not turn in anything stating that since It was not in checklist.
  7. To all who already have an interview invite, are they all just group interviews? I emailed last week and was told hopefully by the end of this week we should know about invites. This is my first year applying and I'm so anxious and nervous! I wonder if you are not selected if you get notified. Other than the email I sent, I have not been contacted by the school.
  8. Well that at least gives me hope! I have not received an email about not having reviewed many applications though...
  9. Did they send that out to you, or did you email first and ask?
  10. Hmmm I wonder if they are looking at them in order of completed applications. I submitted mine back in June but some of my references just submitted in September and I just sent my GRE scores Oct 29. Fingers crossed I get an invite still!
  11. Are they fast track interviews? Or regular interviews? Would you guys mind sharing your stats? This is my first time applying and I'd love to see what it takes to get an interview just in case I am not lucky enough to get one. Did anyone apply through their portal? Or did everyone do nursingcas?
  12. I'm pretty sure it's just an email link. I just had to enter my references emails.
  13. Good to know. Thanks! I will submit once I re-take on the 18th and hope for an interview invite!
  14. Did you at least get an interview? I took mine Monday and scored a raw score of 295, so I rescheduled for the 18th of October to try again in hopes of getting a 300 at least. Do you mind me asking what some of your friends who got in scored? I feel like I will be even more nervous to take it again! Everything else on my application looks great. GPA's, references, experience, CCRN, took the Chem requirement already ...... Just this one damn test.
