  1. No, nothing else. I called today to ask if there was a delay in invites. Appearntly there was 400-500 applicants and they are still sorting through applicants. It's interesting though since some people that turned in their applications a week prior to when it was due have already received invites and people that turned in their applications months before haven't heard anything. Strange... I would probably just hold off to the end of next week as it seems they might still be sending out invites thee rest of this week. Have you been accepted elsewhere and are waiting to hear from TxWES to make a decision?
  2. Just got an email that they’re still reviewing applications and to pretty much be patient
  3. No, haven't heard anything from them yet. I am assuming we should hear something this week or next week.
  4. I would honestly call and ask to make sure they have all your stuff. This is the first year I believe that they use nursingCAS for their applicants and I'm assuming there must be hiccups on both ends due to the new transission. Call (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME/PHONE NUMBER), she is the administrative assistant at TxWES and who I've been bugging the last 4 months with all my questions. LOL Super helpful and nice. Good luck.
  5. Nope, I called cause I expected to hopefully hear something the first week of October. Now, they’re going to wait until after Nov 1st to send invitations. Once the application deadline passes .
  6. Nope. Nothing yet. The morning will be the first Monday of Oct. we’ll see if this week brings in anything good
  7. Yes, I interviewed last year. Did not get accepted. I was group interviewed and was the odd man in the interview as I was paired with 2 CVICU nurses and I was the only neuro and trauma ICU nurse. Even though not accepted, it was a great experience.
  8. I’ve had plenty of friends get in with leas than 300. Not impossible, although I got denied last year ?
  9. Unfortunately for many people that were hoping for early/priority interviews this year, they will not be having them. They will start sending out interview invitations Oct 1-Dec 1. Interviews will not take place until Jan 2022. Just giving you all a heads up . I was one that was hoping to interview prior to Jan in hopes of getting accepted prior to starting another program.
  10. Did her application status change on the Wesleyan portal
  11. I got nothing. also checked application status and there has been no update
  12. Had my group interview. The topics covered were not of my specialty but instead covered the speciality of the majority of the group (I was the minority ICU specialty). The staff was amazing, polite, and very friendly(They even cracked pretty good jokes). They seem like very involved individuals and are happy with what they do. I was really nervous in the beginning and it really affected my answers. Don't want to discuss to much of the interview due to integrity of the interview process. What I can tell you is, relax, be confident, and allow yourself 2-5seconds to process the question before trying to regurgitate an answer. I ended up rambling out what I thought was right, to only research after and find out that I did not allow myself time to process what was coming out of my mouth. Did not do as well as I would have liked but the reality is that the topics questioned were straight forward. Good luck guys, Ill pray for everyone here and by some miracle maybe I'll meet you guys next Aug.
  13. Good luck @hopefulSRNA2021. I have an interview this next week at TWU. I am a first time interviewer and nervous.
