Texas Wesleyan University CRNA 2022

Updated:   Published

I haven't seen a thread for Texas Wesleyan 2022 program start, so figured I'd start one. Has anyone submitted their application yet? I'm just about done wrapping mine up. I noticed they didn't have early application this year like they have in precious?

Specializes in Trauma/Surgical/Cardiovascular ICU CCRN.

Thanks!

I had seen this, but wondered if ANYONE had been notified. Just stressed. LOL!

Specializes in ICU/Flight Nursing.

Just emailed the school and they said notifications will be sent out all throughout November. There isn’t a particular day or week they’re doing them.

Specializes in Neuro/ med surg ICU.

I just received an invitation to interview. They said they will communicate the dates and times in the near future.

I got one too!

Specializes in ED/ICU.

Are they fast track interviews? Or regular interviews? Would you guys mind sharing your stats? This is my first time applying and I'd love to see what it takes to get an interview just in case I am not lucky enough to get one.

Did anyone apply through their portal? Or did everyone do nursingcas?

Specializes in Trauma, Neuro, & Surgical ICU.

Just got an email that they’re still reviewing applications and to pretty much be patient

To those who got interview invites:

1) when did you submit?

2) nursingcas or twu portal?

3) what clinical sites did you list?

4) please share your stats!

Sure. 5 years ICU ( 4 in neuro and 1 travel in med surg ICU). GPA 3.56. GRE 307. CCRN, CNRN, SCRN. 48 hrs shadowing time. Not extraordinary but I wrote a pretty descend letter. Hope this helps.

I applied in June 2020 through TWU portal. Listed Fort Worth clinical sites but checked everywhere else.

Oh gosh, IDK how I even got an interview looking at other stats.

I submitted through the TWU portal back in March LOL

3.2 GPA, 297 GRE (152Q/4.5W), 5.5 years ICU in the MICU level 1 trauma centers, 2.5 years as a flight nurse, CCRN, CFRN, TNCC, PHTLS, other certs I need for flight nursing.
I’m looking for any of the DFW sites or the Austin site.

Specializes in PICU.

I also got the email that they haven’t gotten to review many of the applications yet and be patient haha. I submitted my application really late though, like end of October.

Specializes in ED/ICU.

Hmmm I wonder if they are looking at them in order of completed applications. I submitted mine back in June but some of my references just submitted in September and I just sent my GRE scores Oct 29. Fingers crossed I get an invite still!

I submitted mine october 31st so I’m really not expecting an invite soon, congrats to y’all keep us posted. I wonder if interviews will be specific to hospital sites or it doesn’t matter and they interview the pool all together.
