I got my email from identgo before my acceptance! They sent them out a couple weeks ago. You follow the link and it's pretty simple! I did my fingerprints last week since I hear it takes time to process. I think once you pass they mail or email your clearance

How did you receive it before acceptance?

For the identigo most people only receive it before acceptance if they were in a previous program or job related. I only say that because I was in a Diploma program awhile back and I still get my clearance card each year mailed to me. For the identigo you are suppose to schedule one in your location so they can do finger prints and it will be mailed to you.

I really think these are unrelated. Been in healthcare 11 years and I was just accepted and having nothing from Identigo yet. The school wouldn't waste time adding you to the roster for the Board of Nursing to get your blue card if they didn't even know you were going to accept your seat. I was accepted last year too but didn't accept the seat and never received anything for Identigo.

Still nothing from Identgo, anyone knows who to email to schedule a fingerprints session?

usually from when I worked at a community college the nursing school sends the roster to the Tx BON then they accept it and send an email out to those who need fingerprints or a letter to those who have done this before. I would say it takes about 2 weeks for turn around.  but to be safe you could always email TT to ask.

Still haven't heard anything. Tried to email but nothing useful..

"Thank you again for applying to our Accelerated BSN program.

Your application is still under faculty review. You will receive notifications for any decision made on your application via email. Unfortunately, I do not have a definite timeline on when all decisions will be made for the program. We have been told that all decisions should be made by the end of September, but this is also subject to change.

Please feel to reach out if you have any other questions in the meantime. "

I'll post here if I hear anything, good or bad.

I emailed, they said by early Oct.

Should we get the required student health insurance through the school or should we get our own insurance. Do y'all know where we can get the cheapest health insurance? I'm currently not insured ;(

Is there anyone who is in the program who can help me navigate how to register for classes or loans options? I feel lost.

Usually the school does enrollment for the nursing classes. As for loans make sure you fill out fasfa then the school gives you options of what is available or you enroll in a payment plan. Let me know if you need any other help I'll be in the Dallas campus, what about you?

Do you know when the next "thing" happens? I've received my acceptance letter, done all my green check marks (waiting on my blue card)... whats next?

Whenever it's time to register for classes, there is a lady that does that she will send you specific instructions with what courses to register for and it's based on your site location. I was in the San Antonio cohort so our prefixes were different than the Austin cohort but anyway anyways. You will get an email outlining exactly how to do it But you register for your own classes and you're responsible for that. At least that's the way it was in 2024

THEB Texas higher education board is who I went through for a loan. The interest rates are much cheaper than the federal stuff. I think my interest rate was in the high twos 2.9 or 3.1 with the same stipulations. You don't have to start paying back until six months after.
